Death Mountain

This is my "Death Mountain" installation, as seen in May 2009 at Sarah Lawrence in Jeanine Oleson's Space Time Concepts' class's final show.. the result of hundreds of hours of hard (and often not that hard) work. Remains somewhat unfinished, hopefully to be revisited/improved in the near future. Dear Readers

I'm sorry I've totally let this blog fall off. I HAVE been making art since halloween 2007. I'm working on getting more recent pics of my work online all in one place. I'm also working on getting all of the videos I've been making online, and they will be in that place as well. I'm also working on getting some pictures of my DEATH MOUNTAIN installation that don't look like shit. Once I have all these things I will let you know.

For now here's a couple collages I did the other day:

The Chill Space

Tarps, Plastic Sheeting, Duct Tape, Packing Tape, Vacuum Cleaner, Wood, Acrylic Paints

This project was done in collaboration with Samo Miller as a component of an event put on by the Secret Society for the Deliberation of Alternative Ways of Fairing on April 13, 2007. The event featured many different interactive and performance pieces coming together to create the ultimate fair experience. Samo and I wanted to make a space where people could come to escape the general chaos outside and just relax. But we knew, given the magnitude of such an event, it had to be the illest, chillest space known to man, instilling chill into the masses.
